Walk into this primary bath and the eye travels straight to the freestanding tub and the large window beyond it. “The natural light really is one of my favorite things about this bathroom, and we designed around it,” says designer Krysty Ronchetti of White Clover Design. Look up, and high ceilings, skylights and a chandelier extend the experience vertically. Graceful arches carve out individual areas while preserving the long sightlines that make the entire room read as open and connected.
That effortless first impression is underpinned by a carefully resolved floor plan. Two vanities are separated, the shower occupies its own zone, the tub has a dedicated bathing area and built-in cabinetry ensures storage is useful and the room remains clean and uncluttered. “Luxury comes from choosing a few special details rather than trying to make everything a statement,” Ronchetti says. Perhaps the room’s greatest luxury is that it’s decidedly not overdesigned.
