When these homeowners moved from a more traditional home, they wanted an entirely new look: elegant simplicity. And they achieved it with the help of Zachary & Sons Homes using sleek, modern cabinetry and a neutral color palette of blonde wood with warm grays. Chrome hardware adds a touch of bling, while the textured stone backsplash lends an organic contrast to the slab-door cabinetry. To streamline the room’s perimeter even more, they opted for a cabinet-front refrigerator and a rectangular custom hood cover with minimal trim to match the cabinetry. The ceiling beams have a light, warm gray tone, as does the oversized, grounding floor tile, and the space is punctuated with black window trim and barstools.
