Designed in a mountain home aesthetic without leaning into predictable cabin tropes, this kitchen blends warmth, durability and visual contrast. Interior designer Jeannette Salazar approached the San Pedro Creek Estates project with a central question: “How do we make something look appealing and custom without necessarily having an expansive budget?” Prefabricated cabinetry was elevated through thoughtful detailing, while Cambria quartz on the perimeter and natural stone at the island introduce texture without overwhelming the room. Stained wood tones, darker finishes and carefully selected materials steer the kitchen away from rustic cliché, creating a cleaner, more subtle sensibility. Ultimately, it feels tailored, proving that strong design decisions often matter more than an unlimited budget.
