inspired bathing
Northern New Mexico architecture is the epitome of Southwest design, as evidenced by this rustic bathroom with touches of the Land of Enchantment. First, there’s the gorgeous view of the Sandia Mountains and the Bosque that can be taken in from the Signature Hardware soaking tub, different from clawfoot and slipper tubs. Second, there’s the unique soaking tub, set into wood frame legs. Melinda Bowen, vice president at Joe Boyden Homes, says it matched the cabinetry perfectly, and fit well into the rustic feel of the bathroom. Rather than opting for stark white countertops, the tan granite countertops are a simple, yet clean, addition to the space. Opposite the tub is a gas fireplace and encased shower, giving this bathroom a touch of luxury.
