The Strosnider Company For years, Patrick Strosnider, owner of The Strosnider Company, drove by an empty lot in the Northeast Heights of Albuquerque and thought about how nice it would be to fill in the small parcel of land with new homes. Having started the real estate development and custom home building business in 1983 with his father, Lloyd, and brother, Tim, both of whom retired in 2006, Strosnider has recently seen the fruition of that dream through his Chelwood Hills development near the Sandia Mountain foothills. And while in-fill projects require a lot more effort, investment, and paperwork, Strosnider believes that such projects are an important part of keeping established communities within his hometown vital. Strosnider is also gearing up for the 2009 opening of Chapter II in La Cuentista, a fully green gated community on Albuquerque’s Westside. His homes in Sunrise Ridge, another in-fill project in the Westside community of Taylor Ranch, offer unobstructed city and mountain views. Strosnider’s homes, which have won a wide range of awards over the years, range between 1,500 to 2,100 square feet and tend to appeal to young professionals and empty nesters who are looking for a quality home with carefree living and low maintenance yards. |
