New Haven Homes Bill Reynolds, principal of Albuquerque-based New Haven Homes, knows how to pull his colleagues together in an industry where competition and individuality is the status quo. The founding president of CB New Mexico, LLC, a for-profit co-op of local custom builders, created the group when he and other custom builders saw the need for larger bargaining power with suppliers in a tightening market. He also partnered with two of his direct competitors to create an award-winning partnership, Tres Amigos Builders. Their 2007 Home of Enchantment Parade entry, a 3,574 square foot Corrales home, offered sustainable and energy-efficient livability - and a hefty donation from proceeds to benefit four local charities. With almost two decades of working up the corporate ladder for national home builders behind him, Reynolds branched out onto his own a little over a decade ago. His first year as an independent builder, he was an award winner in the Homes of Enchantment Parade. Founded on the concept of building high-quality homes with green-building techniques, Reynolds also espouses the philosophy of giving back to his community through volunteerism, charitable contributions and community donations. |
