Harder Custom Builders By the time Kyle Harder, founder of Harder Custom Builders, started working on his own as a trim carpenter and remodeler at the age of 18, he already had several years of experience in the construction trade thanks to a father already in the business. And when he married Robin, his wife of 18 years, she rounded out the business with her background in marketing, finance, and real estate. The team works with their customers guiding them through the design, selection and construction of their dream home. The couple, who build all of their homes to the Green Build New Mexico standards, are dedicated to creating energy efficient homes which incorporate green features. Committed to green building since the Home Builders Association’s first program began in 1998, the Harders have recently modified their building techniques to meet the stringent levels of the Energy Star standards. The Harders, who believe community involvement is a part of being a good business citizen, recently donated their efforts to creating a new family room at the Ronald McDonald House, a resident haven for families of ill children housed at the University of New Mexico Hospital. |
